Northeast Graffiti Busters, 25 Years Strong

Our Mission

NEGB’s mission is to address visual blight through graffiti and trash removal and landscaping services that create jobs for underserved individuals and supply wraparound employment training and opportunities as well as other social services that address the needs of low income and working class residents in Los Angeles County.

The strength of our nonprofit organization is rooted in the unwavering support of stakeholders and the business community. Through collaboration, we accomplish far greater objectives than we could individually. It is our goal to continue this much-needed work to create meaningful and lasting change.

Our History

Northeast Graffiti Busters (NEGB) was established in 2001 with a mission to tackle visual blight in the Northeast San Fernando Valley. With 23 years of experience in graffiti removal, NEGB swiftly responds to community concerns, making neighborhoods safer by significantly reducing graffiti. Our rapid response time of 24-48 hours has led to a notable decrease in gang-related crime rates, as graffiti often serves as a form of communication among gangs. Initially serving only Council District 7, NEGB's exceptional service standards, community involvement, and expertise have enabled us to expand into Council Districts 1, 6, 14, and parts of 2.

About NEGB

Northeast Graffiti Busters (NEGB) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the removal of graffiti, street sweeping, and sidewalk cleaning. Our team utilizes cutting-edge vacuum and scrubbing equipment to ensure effective results. Additionally, we handle refuse collection from receptacles located along commercial corridors and provide landscaping services such as watering, planting, and maintenance of sidewalk trees and street median vegetation. Moreover, we are responsible for maintaining public signs and art elements, as well as handling bulky-item pick-up. NEGB actively collaborates with stakeholders, businesses, and community-based organizations, involving them as valued partners in the area's maintenance. Our primary objective is to eliminate visual blight and negative influences, while improving the aesthetic appeal of key commercial corridors and neighborhoods in the greater Los Angeles area. By doing so, we aim to foster business retention, attract new investments, and instill a sense of community pride. NEGB plays a crucial role in the economic development of the greater Los Angeles region.
